Answer #1

The enzyme lipoprotein lipase is important for the release of fatty acids from solid VLDL particles. The enzyme activity of hormone sensitive lipase (HSL) decreases due the increase of insulin. The increase in the levels of insulin due to the condition of hyperinsulinemia causes the surface of the fat cell to hydrolyze lipoprotein triglycerides leading to the release of fatty acids.
