Answer #1

Wobble pairing does not occurs between the first position in codon and third position in the anticodon. It is a false statement.

According to Wobble hypothesis the base at 5' end or first base of anticodon can show non- specific base pairing with several different base located at the 3' end or third base of codon. so first position of anticodon and third base of codon is the wobble position. For example Guanine at wobble position in anticodon can pair with uracil or cytosine. below table show how this wobble pairing occurs.

Base in anticodon Base in codon
G U or C
A U
U A or G
C G
I A,C or U

ERNA This is wobble position je 1st base of anticodon and 3rd of codon. - U ORNA Wobble painingSo wobble paring occurs between first base of anticodon and third base of codon of mRNA. So this statement is false.
