It is Sensitive tocytochrome c oxidase (COX) is the terminal complex of the electron transfer chain.This enzyme of the inner mitochondrial membrane catalyzes the last step of respiration, It accepts electrons from reduced Cytc and transfers them to molecular oxygen, which is reduced to water. Hence it plays a vital role in energy production of aerobic cells.
