Explanation - There are three reactions in glycolysis that are bypassed during gluconeogenesis. This bypass is done by using different enzymes. These enzymes are the pyruvate kinase, phosphofructokinase-1 (PFK-1) and hexokinase.

Reaction 1- Pyruvate carboxylase and PEP carboxykinase are the enzymes that bypass the pyruvate kinase step.

Reaction 2- Fructose-1,6 bisphosphate is the enzyme that bypasses the phosphofructokinase step.

Reaction 3- Glucose-6 phosphate is the enzyme that bypasses the hexokinase step.
