Hormones have a great contribution at the time of ovulation, pregnanacy or in the menstrual cycle. Mainly estrogen and progesteron (secreted by LH and FSH) contribute to the ovulation and mentrual cycle. Out of them estrogen level will remain high during the process of ovulation, it is the process in which the mature ovum releases fro the ovary and reaches to the fallopian tube. While progesterone is helpful in thicking the inner lining of uterus each month for the pupose of ovulation.

After the mestrual cycle, the level of estrogen starts to increase. It is responsible for the mature egg. Progesterone levels starts to increase in the beginning of the mestrual period.
