The statement is false. This is because, surface proteins of the cancer cells are targeted to kill the cancer cells. For targeting the surface proteins, they are separated from cancer cells and immunizing the patient against those surface proteins. So that the immune cells of the body can attack the cancer cells.

As it is stated above, surface proteins are not introduced back in to the patient's body.
