For the PCR reaction you have to dilute the cDNA to 100 ng/µL. Your cDNA has a concentration of 700 ng/µL. Taking 10 µL of this cDNA, by what factor to you have to dilute it and how much PCR water do you add?

The stock cDNA concentration is 700 Ng/L and the final concentration will be 100 Ng/L .

So the solution have to be diluted 700/100 =7 times.

To make 10 L 7 fold diluted solution , you have to add 7 L of PCR water and (10-7)= 3 L of stock solution.
