Answer #1

The Bigg’s (transient) Killer whales or orcas which prey on marine mammals has higher level of PCB compare to Southern resident orcas (Fish eating). This is due to biomagnification process the mammals is the final level in pyramid structure so it accumulate large portion of PCB in the body and not able to excrete them. If orcas eats the mammals it directly increase the concentration of PCB in their body higher level. The Southern resident orcas eats only the fish it is low level in the pyramid level so it only consume lesser amount of PCB.

India tends to have much higher inflation than Australia and also much higher interest rates than Australia. Inflation and interest rates are much more volatile in India than in industrialised countries. The value of the Indian rupee is typically more volatile than the currencies of industrialised countries from an Australian perspective; it has typically depreciated from one year to the next, but the degree of depreciation has varied substantially. The bid/ask spread tends to be wider for the rupee than...

    (2) When we discuss body composition results with an individual, why do you think that we as health professionals should carefully choose our words and try to soften what otherwise may be a harsh reality of poor results? Keep in mind, that even though we will be particular with what we say, that doesn't mean we don't report results or just simply glaze over them to make the individual feel better. Suppose that Belgium and Denmark both have 100 units each of capital and labor, and that they share the same CRS technology with which they produce beer and cheese. However, tastes differ in the two countries: consumers in Belgium have a strong preference for cheese, and consumers in Denmark have a strong preference for beer. Will there be trade? What would you expect the pattern of trade to look like? Do you think we can still talk about comparative advantage...

The Absorbance for the highest concentration of starch is lower than you might have expected. What is the most likely reason for this? The sample was prepared incorrectly and actually has a lower starch concentration than indicated. Not enough Lugols was added, and not all of the starch is being detected. The measurement was made inaccurately, and the Absorbance is probably higher than indicated. Spectrophotometer readings are inaccurate near their maximum value of 2. You have series of starch solutions...
