The Male Orcas have more concentration of PCB or polychlorinated biphenyls in their body than the female orcas due to the attraction of PCB towards the fat deposit in the body which is stores in the orcas fat deposit.

The accumulation of PCBs becomes more prominent once the food chain level increases. The small fishes consume the PCBs which is later consumed by large fish especially the male fish which is found with the huge fat deposit which is also deposited with rich PCBs. When compared to female the male fish consumes the large content of small fishes. The toxic material is now highly accumulated in male orca

PCB is widely used as insulating oil, in the electrical transformer and electrical capacitor. The PCBs manufacturing center deposit the chemical I n the sea with a negative influence in the surrounding. This hugely affects the sea fishes and the other population who consumes the same.

The pattern in the food chain is widely disturbed. The PCBs from the small fishes riches the bigger fishes and then finally human who consumes.
