7. We all know that a cell with G0 doesn't divide. So, after exposure to the radiation the DNA of the cell may be damaged.

7a. The mature cell with G0 may be non-functional after the exposure to the radiation. The cell may cope up the DNA damage by repairing it's DNA. If the DNA couldn't be repaired then the cell initiates apoptosis. If a most necessary cell (such as neuron, muscle cell) dies it can hamper the future health of the bear.

8. The cell will try hard to repair it's DNA. If DNA remains damaged then it may be replicated to the daughter cells and so on which may lead to cancer.

8a. With the damaged DNA the cell may be divided several rounds. It may produce several cells with damaged DNA. If DNA remains damaged, it can't control the cell cycle which leads to cancer.
