as we can see the levels of pCO3 is elevated than the normal range (35-45 mmHg) and HCO3 levels are normal ( 22-28 mEq/L)

  • Respiratory acidosis

note: it is a condition in which the blood pH is measured below the normal range (7.38-7.42) and the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO3) will be elevated than the normal range , caused due to hypoventilating. therefore increase in concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease in blood pH is known as respiratory acidosis.
