What ecosystem in british columbia( or elsewehere) is susceptible to invasive species ?
answer : ecosystems such as islands , mountain wetlands ,
Pacific coastal areas are more susceptible to invasive
species due to the lack of competition. Since island is an isolated
area, so there are less no of species present and less migration of
species is there. There are very few predators and natural
competitiors.
if we want to make an ecosystem less susceptible to invasive
species, what could we do ?
answer : we cannot totally wipe off invasive species but we can
inhibit them from occuring at first place . few easy steps to be
taken are :
1. Look for garden plants which are free of invasive species
2. Clean your footwear before hiking into a new place . They might have pathogens in them
3. Check for fruits and vegetables while travelling, they might have invasive organisms which can harm to themselves only .
4. Owe a pet or aquarium fish only if you can take care and look after it , because you cannot release them freely in wild areas later
5. help to educate others as well regarding invasive species
6. Look into local gardens and nearby places for invasive species .
How could we incorporate our knowledge of ecosystem
susceptibility to invasive species into reserve planning?
answer : 1. we can create awareness among people regarding the
about the impact of invasive species in our ecosystem
2. Prevent the spread of invasive species of international
borders .
3. Biological, physical and chemical control should be done
4. Eradication of invasive species.
please give a thumbs up for appreciation, if you like my efforts
Thanks :)

Procedure Four different colors of beads, representing four species of bacteria, all possible residents of the microbiome, will be utilized. The species differ naturally in their resistance to a particular antibiotic. Three different antibiotic treatment regimens will be modeled: following doctor’s orders ending antibiotic treatment early skipping Day 3 of treatment Your initial population of bacteria is represented as follows: 40 beads that represent Species 1, the most susceptible to the antibiotic (susceptible on Day 1 of treatment) 30 beads...
Protected areas aim to safeguard biodiversity, preserve ecosystem services and ensure the persistence of natural heritage [1]. Despite their essential role in conservation, the allocation of resources to cope with an increasing variety of regular activities and unforeseen circumstances remains generally insufficient [2], severely affecting overall effectiveness [3]. Besides, protected areas subjected to international and national agreements must resolve their acquired responsibilities to maintain their legal status [4]. Hence, there is a demand for cost-effective, versatile and practical initiatives to...

We conducted a comprehensive literature search on drones in conservation up to October 2nd 2018, in line with related studies [10,11,35]. All searches were done by the same person in English, mainly using Google Scholar. This was further complemented through reference harvesting, citation tracking, abstracts in conference programs, and author search, using Research Gate and Mendeley (see PRISMA Flowchart in Supplementary Figure S1 Checklist and list of studies reviewed in Table S1). We then removed duplicate and unrelated results. Finally,...
