Ans 3) The plants requires proper watering conditions,minerals,nutrients for growth,adequate sunlight,small amount of auxin and cytokinin hormone can be used to enhance cell elongation and cell division,gibberelin hormone can be used to enhance flowering quickly,Biofertilizer use can also enhance plant growth.

Ans 4) The variegated Coleus plant will not perform photosynthesis evenly because some part of the leaves are colorless and we know that chlorophyll pigment is very essential to perfom photosynthesis. Chlorophyll absorbs light (Chlorophyll-a absorbs Red wavelength and not green,which imparts green colour to the leaves).If there is no chlorophyll,chlorophyll-a is also absent and there will be no excitation of chlorophyll-a to produce any ATP through the process (We know that in light reaction ATP and NADPH are produced which is utilized in dark reaction to reduce Co2 into carbohydrates).But,since no chlorophyll,there will be not light reaction or photochemical reaction.Now,as we know that the green part will perform photosynthesis and the colourless part will not. We will put iodine solution on the leaves and we will observe that only the green part will turn bluish black wheras the colourless part will not have any impact.
