The image of cells under microscope is given as :

We can observe that most cells have a small nucleolus and loose chromatin material. Also, nuclear envelope is present in such cells. These cells are in the interphase stage of cell cycle.

Cell cycle consists of interphase and division. Since most cells belong to interphase stage, this implies that cells spend most of their time in interphase. During this phase, cell prepares itself for division stage.

Note:

Interphase itself consists of three stages : G1, S and G2. Cell grows in size and prepares essential material during G1 and G2 , whereas cell replicates it's DNA during S phase.
