# Yes. T4 lambda bacteriophage contains a double stranded DNA genome. To replicate a double stranded DNA, DNA polymerase has to polymerise both leading strand and lagging strand.

So the bacteriophage definitely need the lagging strand synthesis to replicate another strand of its DNA. T4 phage DNA polymerase is named as gp43. It has SSB, clamp loader, clamp, helicase and, primase for DNA replication.
