Answer #1

Question 5

Answer-

Mitosis is basically that phase of cell cycle where the division of duplicated genetic material occurs such that each daughter cell gets all and equal number of chromosomes while cytokinesis is that phase of cell cycle where division of cytoplasm occurs as a result the parent cell gets divided into two daughter cells.

Thus, in simple words mitosis is basically the division of nucleus containing the genetic material while cytokinesis is the division of cell cytoplasm resulting the daughter cells.

Also, mitosis occurs prior to cytokinesis while cytokinesis is the last phase of cell cycle resulting parent cell into two daughter cells.

The given question is a type of question with multiple questions (question 5-7) and according to HomeworkLib guidelines under the given condition answer only the first question unless the student has specified (which is not in the given case). Thus, I answered only the first question i.e. Question-5.
