American culture indeed evolved with a strength and splendour over the years. Liberty, respect for privacy, individualism, freedom of choice, equality, professionalism, being time bound, respect for education, dependence on technology are the best possible aspects of the American culture.

2- Yes, of course i personally believe that our society reflects more material culture than non material culture.
The simplest reason behind this is that the human beings are fascinated by the comfort, lavishness and luxury of the material culture entities like buildings, technology, products, services, tools and manufacturing plants.
On other hand, the non material culture involves the attributes like beliefs, faith, traditions, values, standards of living, norms and ethical/ moral/ religious/ spiritual aspects of the life.
We human beings do not indulge in such a odyssey that seems to be time taking and eternal happiness/ contentment without any of the intangible things does not fascinate us like the material/ tangible ones.
