Explain why more spore forming in 48-hour incubation of bacteria than 24 hours?
For microbiology
Bacterial Spores are formed in adverse condition in the environment (low nutrients, unfavourable temperature etc). When bacterial population is increasing, then low nutrients source are present in the environment or medium. As a result adverse conditions are coming and spore are formed.
Bacteria can less utilized nutrients in 48hrs than 24hrs. For this reason 48hrs incubation more spore are formed.
