Answer 1.1:

Five general characteristics within which an individual and a manager fall within are discussed below:

1. Emotional: all individuals are emotional in nature, however, only the degree up to which they are emotional differs. A person can be highly emotion. Managers or the individuals who are highly emotional are mainly focused and concerned for the development of relationship among and with the team members. Individuals who are less emotional are generally task oriented.

2. Openness: individuals can be open and transparent in their expression and activities. Such individuals tend to disclose all the things among their peer group and they do not keep secrets. Closed nature of individuals does not share all of the things rather they like to talk less or they keep secrets.

3. Agreeableness: This trait defines an individual whether he like to agree with the views of other individuals or do they indulge into conflicts.

4. Extroversion/introversion: a person can be extrovert; meaning he speaks up what he feels or he would be introvert; means he keep quiet and prevent himself for speaking up the issues.

5. Neuroticism: This is a state that defines the person who are more likely than average to be moody and to experience such feelings as anxiety, worry, fear, anger, frustration, envy, jealousy, guilt, depressed mood, and loneliness.

Answer 1.2:

Five dimensions of job satisfaction:

1. Engagement: an individual can be highly engaged with his job if he finds that the job is challenging and will lead him to his desired goals.

2. Respect: A person finds a job to be respectful if it is valuable for the development of the organisation. For example, a manager’s job is considered to be respectable than the job of the peon.

3. Fair compensation: a job is supposed to be fairly compensating if it provides the basic payment that is prevalent in the market.

4. Motivation: a job is considered to be motivating if it provides a fair amount of challenges and helps a person in attaining his goal.

5. Recognition: a job is highly valued by the individual if it provides recognition to the individual in the form of monetary and non monetary benefits.

Answer 1.3:

Four elements of consumer learning:

1. Motivation: unfulfilled needs motivates consumer to search for the new product that could satisfy his needs. This leads to the learning of the individual for different products.

2. Cues: cues are the stimulus that guides the customer towards a particular attribute of the product. Cues also act as a learning element for the customer.

3. Response: response is the reaction to the cue. This leads to the learning experience for the consumer on how he reacts for a particular cue.

4. Reinforcement: it helps the consumers in understanding the set of behaviours that leads him to the particular action and reaction.
