Myocardial infaction-

It is also known as heart attack. It occurs when blood flow decreases to a part of the heart or completely stops .This leads to decreased blood supply to the heart muscles which leads to the damage .Once the muscles are damaged they are not able to contract and heart is not able to pump out blood this is known as myocardial infaction. In most of the people this occurs because of the blockage of coronary artery which supplies blood to the heart muscles.
