Answer #1

1) Both strands of DNA are complementary to each other and complementary strands are antiparallel, that is one strand has 5` to 3` polarity and the other strand has 3` to 5` polarity.

so orientation at A - 3`

2) Both strands of DNA are complementary to each other and complementary strands are antiparallel, that is one strand has 5` to 3` polarity and the other strand has 3` to 5` polarity. so orientation at B is 5`

3) at C helicase enzyme is acting to unwind DNA.

Helicase

4) The unwinding of DNA by helicase enzyme can cause supercoiling in the double-stranded DNA this is removed by topoisomerase enzyme.

so the enzyme at D is Topoisomerase.

DNA synthesis occurs in the 5` to 3` direction.

the strand which has the polarity 3` to 5` in the direction of movement of the replication, the DNA synthesis is continuous and it the template strand for leading strand.

In the other strand with polarity 5` to 3` in the direction of movement of the replication, the DNA synthesis is not continuous and it the template strand for lagging strand.

5) leading strand

6) lagging strand.
