Volume of HBr = final-intial = 30.0 - 15.0 = 15.0 mL

Volume of NaOH = final - intial = 40.0 - 0.0 = 40.0 mL

Molarity of NaOH = 0.500 M

Hence,

We know that,

VHBr × MHBr = VNaOH × MNaOH

MHBr = 40.0 mL × 0.500 M / 15.0 mL = 1.333 M

Molarity of HBr = 1.333 M .
