Ans) r = intrinsic rate of growth, so when

r > 0= population size increases.

r < 0 = population size decreases.

r=0 no offsprings or reproduction, the population size would not change.

Higher the values of r, the faster is the intrinsic growth rate in a population, its directly proportional to growth rate.
