How do you think continued advances in genetic research will influence how we look at our relationship with nonhuman primates?
What factors threaten the existence of nonhuman primates in the wild? What can be done to help save nonhuman primates from extinction?
Relationship with non human primates is close to humans.
Advancing genetic research and new tools like DNA fingerprinting , DNA profiling, molecular tools , DNA sequencing and alignment, cytology , chromosome structure etc help us to determine what caused evolution and changes. For eg. If u see chimpanzee and human chromosomes that, chimpanzee has 48 chromosomes , out of which 4 join togethor to form 2 chromosomes like the concept of transposons, thus forming 2 sub meta centric chromsomes, in humans to form chromsome 46.
Thus, with increasing knowledge our understanding will become better.
Causes of extinction- 1) habitat loss, 2) low fecundity 3) fragmentation 4) loss of ther keystone species 5) global warming etc
Steps to conserve - 1) Insitu - biodiversity national parks etc , along with increased afforestation
2) ex situ- wildlife parks, zoos , more area for habitation, etc.

How does the influence of our genes and brain function change the way we think about crime and punishment? If genetic factors are responsible for people committing crime, should we adjust responses from the criminal justice system on the basis of individual genetics? For example, should people with genes that predispose them to violence receive different sentences if they engage in crime? Alternatively, should genetic information be used to pre-emptively identify potential killers or other predisposed to violence? Is it...
5. Discuss how measurements can influence how we look at whether health behaviors are related to or independent from our decision? Remember to discuss all factors involved. 6. Discuss smoking and alcohol consumption from a genetic vs social perspective

How you think the allele frequencies are being affected by genetic drift in our simulation. Do you think this is speeding up or slowing down the rate of allele change? Why? Plot a graph of the H (p) allele frequency over generational time (show a minimum of three generations) showing what you would expect to happen if both natural selection and genetic drift are happening. Make sure to explain why you think this pattern would occur
What do you think is one cultural practice that our descendants will look back on us and criticize us for? Why? How much should we be willing to give up in order to do some good? Why this amount, and not more or less? Do you think that there has to be a conflict between doing our moral duty and doing what's in our own self-interest? Answer this question with reference to either the issue of caring for animals or...

What percentage of our budget do you think goes to funding scientific research? (in all disciplines and what fraction of that goes to astronomy specifically) and What percentage our budget do you think should be allocated to funding scientific research? Is doing research in disciplines such as astronomy totally useless except for satisfying our curiosity?
The internet is so vast in its knowledge and areas we can do research. Which website or area do you think many of your patients look at that you do not think is reputable?
