Teenagers say Depression is a major issue among their peers? What do you think?

Source of depression are different in different ages as adult source of depression is different from that of teenagers. Although the onset of depression can be seen at any point of time in life it intensity varies. This serious mental health issue among teenagers can affect their thinking, behaviour and activities, loss of interest in study and feeling of numbness towards life can be consider as some serious issue.

Accepting that teenagers are vulnerable to depression as they say it’s common among their peers is true, as a group can cause emotional and physical imbalance in them when things aren’t achieved and they fail to prove their worthiness. Often we see our friend performing well in academics where we experience failure consistently and this can push us into depression. Relationship issues can also be witnessed in this frame of time where one is happy with their life partner and the other is sad either of their broken relation or no relation at all.

As we grow up lots of change occurs within our bodies and it’s just not the outer physical appearing but the inner changes of emotions and understanding or dealing with things in other perspectives. Thus with change lots of ups and downs come along the way and it’s not always something temporary as some posses exceptionally serious danger towards life and this can’t be overcome with confidence and will power and it goes on grabbing and pushing ourselves to the dark zone where it becomes hard to fight back and overcome the hurdles. Thus teenagers depression should also be given utmost important as of adult as it posses equally danger like any other phase of life.
