Both these classical signs are suggestive of Hyperglycaemia or abnormal increase in blood sugar.
The patient is describing polyuria and polydipsia. Other questions would have to be asked to get the proper diagnosis, but based on this information there is possible concern for kidney disease but diabetes and adrenal disease. Bloodwork should be done in form of CBC and chemistries. Notating the BUN, CREA, and BG will help differentiate the forms of diagnosis.
