Answer #1

Answer: Yes, the professionals who do good work as a part of their profession also have an obligation to do voluntary social work. This is because that apart from being professionals they are also citizens of the country. Their professional and personal obligations are therefore different and hence even if they have fulfilled their professional duty of doing good work as a part of their work. Their personal responsibility as a citizen remains.

As a part of the community we not only have certain rights but we also have certain obligations. In our daily works and activities we use a number of resources that collectively belong to all the members of the community. As a part of the community we have the right to use them and also as the part of the community it is the obligation of every citizen to give back to the community in return of resources that we use. Hence in the community it is our responsibility to give back what we receive in form of cooperation and responsibility towards the community.

At times when the professional choose some type of community service that will directly or indirectly profit their business then a conflict of interest may arise. The professionals should therefore not try to benefit professionally from the community service work they undertake.

Topic: Business Opportunities for Apple So the company that I have been researching is Apple. We all know that Apple has gotten a lot pricier over the years, and their reputation has kind of taken a hit due to it. Apple also isn't known for being the most charitable or a business that really focuses on helping the community around them. I think a great investment idea for Apple would be on that gives back to the communities around their...

I need a response to the discussion below. Part 1: Women experience higher rates of abuse or intimate partner violence because of a long history of societal gender "roles" and "norms". Women were traditionally/historically looked at as homemakers who serve their male partner or husband. Men were traditionally considered to be the head of the household and women were to listen to them, even if they were being abusive. Women often did not speak out about being abused because they...

“[We now consider] the question whether it is better to be loved rather than feared, or feared rather than loved. It might perhaps be answered that we should wish to be both; but since love and fear can hardly exist together, if we must choose between them, it is far safer to be feared than loved. For of men it may generally be affirmed that they are thankless, fickle, false, studious to avoid danger, greedy of gain, devoted to you...
