Theory of equity talks about how an employee feels about the overall evaluation of his/her performance compared to the rewards he/she receives which then affects an employees commitment to and satisfaction with the job and company.
When the employee perceives that the inputs equals outputs he/she will feel the sense of equity and consequently remain satisfied with the job all other factors constant
