A phase control for the Triac is constructed from the R-C and Diac strands. If diac has a breakdown voltage of 28 volts, Vg Triac = 1.5 volts, R = 10kΩ and C = 0.33uF, specify (a) describe the strand, (b) what the angle of the trigger is, (c) how much the effective voltage of the load if the network voltage is 220 volts, (d) describes the shape of the load wave proportionally, (e) how much the dc voltage is, (f) calculate the trigger angle if diac is eliminated.
