  • Kinase are enzymes that adds phosphate group to substance, a process called as phosphorylation. Therefore for regulation of cascade that involves kinase, it is necessary that a enzyme that removes phosphate is present. Phosphatase are enzyme that removes phosphate and this process is called as dephosphorylation.
