• Two color DNA microarray hybridized with the cDNA of two samples to compared such as diseased and normal tissues. Also they are labelled fluorescent of two different colour such as Cy3 of wavelength 570 nm and emits green light, Cy5 of wavelength 670 nm and emits red light.
• Then the different fluorescent labelled cDNA samples were mixed and hybridized to a microarray Then scan them in the microarray system containing scanner and at the presence of lazer beam passes through the samples emits coloured light. Then this fluorophore may then be use to ratio based analysis to get the datas of up regulated and down regulated genes.

Advantage of two color microarray over one color microarray

• We can use two different color of two different sampled mixed together in certain cases like normal and diseased tissues.
• And the other advantage is the results are less affected with the quality of the cDNA sample.
• It is highly recommended in individual combination experimental system and related experimental system.
