Chapter Case 10 at the beginning of the chapter is focused on IKEA and its success over 40 years. Would you say that their success has been sustainable? Why or why not?

Yes , IKEA'S success can be said as sustainable one. It never compromises with the quality offerings and customer satisfaction. It utilizes renewable energy and produces more renewable energy than it consumes. It adopted the concept of sustainable approach in procurement of inputs , carbon less production system and green packaging ( in case it requires) . It prefer wood uses against the polythene and other pollutants.  

The role of its top management is quite challenging as they have created an atmosphere of utilizing the green practices in its product design and manufacturing. People gets training and vision related to sustainable management development at IKEA. In this way, it becomes a sustainable business organization.
