Firstly,
1,)
What is placenta? and what is Placenta previa ?
The placenta develops in the uterus. This organ develops during pregnancy. This organ provides oxygen and nutrients to the growing baby and removes waste products from the baby's blood, without mixing with the mother’s blood.
The placenta attaches to the wall of the uterus, the placenta connects to the baby through the umbilical cord or rather the baby's umbilical cord arises from it.
The Placenta is usually attached to the top, sides or back of the uterus.
In rare cases, the placenta gets attached in the lower area of the uterus.
When this happens, it's called a low-lying placenta or placenta previa
Placenta previa occurs when the baby's placenta covers the mother’s cervix (cervix is the outlet from the uterus) partially or totally.

2.) Placenta previa risk for the mother.

A placenta previa may cause bleeding throughout the pregnancy and during the delivery.
The bleeding during pregnancy in case of placenta previa can increase the risk of preterm premature rupture of the membranes leading to premature labor.
Placenta accreta is a serious complication that occurs more in women with placenta previa.
Placenta accrete is when the placental tissue grows too deeply into the womb, and attaches to the muscle layer, which results in difficulty separating the placenta from the wall of the uterus at delivery.
This condition can cause life-threatening bleeding and may require hysterectomy at the time of Cesarean delivery.

3.) Placenta previa risk for the baby
Placenta previa is observed with other abnormalities of the placenta or the umbilical cord. Some studies have shown a reduction in fetal growth, and the presence of the placenta in the lower part of the uterus makes breech or abnormal presentation of the fetus.

You may use, Diagrams of normal placenta; how it helps exvhange nutrients and oxygen and  placenta previa.
