I have learnt various style of leadership. Out of many models, I would like to discuss the production oriented and relationship oriented style followed by leaders. This term has greatly affected me as I have learnt how leaders try to influence their followers using either of the styles. I can relate them in personal life also where religious leaders or political leaders in society try to create impact on their followers to get the desired behavior. I have understood both the styles and their varied dimensions. I would try to follow a relationship oriented style in my personal as well as professional life. Because this helps in winning confidence of people easily.

Initially, I could not differentiate between these styles and didn't know that both are important to motivate employees and increase their performance efficiency. In order to become a good leader, one must be determined and sensitive towards others behavior. He should be culturally sensitive as well as emotionally intelligent to manage and lead people.

A pre-crisis management plan refers to a set plan which ensures that an organization is well equipped to effectively respond to certain incidents. it is important in identifying the potential threats facing a company and how to handle the threats in case they occur. The plan assists in easily containing a crisis through ensuring immediate, focused and emphatic responses.

During a crisis, the CEO is required to take charge in containing the situation. the CEO communication is important in sending signals to the employees, shareholders and the customers. communication is also important in ensuring a prompt, accurate and confident response to an emergency. Crisis leadership competence is important in the development of skills that assists an organization in preventing and responding to crisis and other emergency issues related to the company. Such competencies include the detection of a crisis, preparing and preventing the crisis, damage control, containment, business recovery, reflection and learning.
