Every fitness program has its own dimensions, depending upon the needs and focus of the program. But whatever that need, goal or focus maybe, strength training plays a very vital role in it's achievement. Although, The role of strength training in a fitness program varies depending upon the exact gaol of the training, still it has an important role to play. Strength training provides the over all fitness and strength required by the body to achieve the programs goals efficiently and easily. It's role should be to strengthen the muscle mass enough to sustain the fitness program until the end. A good amalgamation of strength training in any fairness program would enhance the health of bones and muscles of those involved. Strength training should be incorporated only in the amount required by the fitness program.
It has been said that a healthy mind lives In a healthy body. In this present age, every other person is dreaming of that perfect Greek God body. And it is this race of body image that makes many crave for the fitness programs. Although such desires to enhance body image do motivate, but the acceptance of healthy habits and healthy life style should be more pulling factors. The proverb beginning this paragraph makes it clear hat people should be motivated for the health fitness benifits instead of simply participating to enhance body image. Health befits of a fitness program are age-resistant, they are for everyone, irrespective of age. On the other hand enhancement of body image can only be achieved upto some finite age.
Personally, I feel that unless a person trains their body for a sport (body building championships), the over mass gain of individuals to become big and muscular is too much. Such individuals with large body musculature do not look much appealing in a normal healthy lifestyle.
Please give this answer a thumbs up and do let me know if i missed something. Thanks.
