A gender quota system in an organization to promote gender diversity is not a good idea overall and in a broader sense, as it will affect the talent pool of the organization.
A position in an organization should be based on efficiency and talent, where an employee can handle a project better, handles a customer better, compatibility and fit for the role, knowledgable and with skills.
So if the above criteria falls for an employee, we should hire them irrespective of the gender
