How do you calculate the average sizes and numbers of DNA fragments produced by digesting human genomic DNA with a given restriction enzyme?

After digestion of DAN by restriction enzymes multiple DNA fragments with variable length is produced. So we can use electrophoresis technique to seprate the DNA strand. In electrophoresis DNA molecules are seprated depends on charge on the molecules. Smaller fragments will move faster than large fragments. Thus based on migration pattern of DNA and by comparing it with DNA ladder . We can estimate different no of DNA band and size of band.
