Answer #1

generally i use Excel in compare to other statistical programs like R , Statdisk,Statcrunch, etc.

and for simple calculations we can use calculator like for subtraction multiplication addition etc . but where is a major calculations in statistics like to plot graph and to solve data auto analyse data which is tabulated and then we have to use any statistical program there there generally I use Excel because Excel is a easy in compare to all other programs and there is no no need of any expertise to understand that only just we have to practice with that and we get familiar with action there is all commands are given to perform any action and most important thing is that there is auto option which can be used to auto sum or to perform any action in continuously which performed for previous data.

I have soak some commands which can be used in Excel to perform statistical task which can be used directly without going to function and selecting the particular operation we just put our command in function box such as `=AVERAGE(A1:A10)` this command is used for to calculate the average and there is return a1: a10 means vi select data from A coloum 1st row to 10th row to average.

and one more command to calculate standard deviation is

'=STDEV(B1:B11)' through this command we can calculate the standard deviation from B columns 1st row to 11th row .

aur we can go to function option and we select statistical functions and then we find this function STDEV and then perform our task is selected data.

such as autosum which is used to some the tabulated data it will automatically summed all the data in the bottom with just one click.

and we can also find many statistical things like mean ,median, mode ,z value, confidence interval, critical value ,sample size ,maximum, minimum, quantile, quartile, cdf, decile,IQR, and the most regression analysis ,ANOVA etc. and if you try on your copy or sheet them it will take too much of time, and Excel is very simple software which make it easier to you and solve efficiently in very little time , and we can also easily design any plot be different class and we can fix the legends and different types of plots we can draw there with options this can be done easily without any complicated programming .

and if I talk about R software this is also energy software but but we need too much practice with that software and we need to spend much time to learn r because it's completely based on programming and and a little mistake can are there your solution towards wrong decision and program may not be run if even any , or . by mistake you forget to return, this program will not be run,but if you have little practice with you can perform your your all things with just simply by commands which is used to perform any action there are many complications but you can perform all statistical actions in our there are lots of data available in our you can practice with them.

Python is also statistical software which can be used as r to perform in statistical action and this is better than R.

so finally I prefer that students should use Excel because Excel is easy to understand anyone can use the Excel without any heavy practice or without need of any expert.

more important thing is that Excel is not case sensitive we can use their lowercase or uppercase letters to perform any task but software R is a case sensitive.

hope you enjoy it thank you
