There has been a notion in the United States that the labor movement was a citizenship social movement. This notion is in fact true and three suggested implications include:
1. Living Wage Campaigns: Several trade workers formed into unions and these unions came together in early 17th century to fight against the unfair wages for their labor.
2. Immigration Campaigns: Several illegal immigrants who were forcefully brought into US by the labor heads had formed into unions and continued to fight for citizenship.
3. Health Campaigns: Due to outbreak of pandemics in the USA then, the government workers and other citizens formed into associations and exerted pressure on the government to provide good medical facilities to all the citizens free of cost.
