Social behavior is formed with the interaction of environment and family members. The social behaviors that grow in the early years are:

Communication: The first social behavior that appears in the early years is an effort of communication. The child tries to communicate with those around it. Child communicates with facial expressions and gestures. It also makes sounds and cries it tries to draw attention of the elders.

Emotional behavior: He learns from his early years when to be pleased and when to e angry. He learns to express his emotional outbursts. He learns with whom to grow friendship and how to grow friendship. His learning of communication helps him to make intimacy with others. On the other hand his social contact also largely depends on the emotional attachment. He gradually learns how to interact with others.

Play: Through play the child learns socialization. It plays with its mates. It likes to play. Such act of play continues to the later years. There are many positive aspects of play in moulding social behaviors in an individual. It settles whether he has any disorders.

Culture: Some cultures automatically grow in the child from the early years. He learns the culture from his parents, home and others. He is gradually habituated with those culture. He follows the manners and customs maintained by his family members. He learns how to talk and how to control. Socialization in respect of culture starts from the early age and continues later years.

Inquisitiveness: In the early years one tries to learn everything surrounding him. It satisfies his early knowledge. He learns the people around him. He learns who are his close and who are strangers. He learns how to behave with them.
