Create a full adder and subtractor using ROM (One circuit)

I know the minterms

adder: S=(1,2,4,7) C=(3,5,6,7)

Subtractor: D=(1,2,4,7) B=(1,2,3,7)

I just don't know how to use a control variable to draw it as 1 circuit, not 2. I assume it has to have a control variable that is equal to 0 or 1 to choose addition or subtraction, but i don't know how to implement it.

Introduction: This experiment studies the design of an 8-bit adder/subtractor circuit using VHDL capture. The experiment investigates the implementation of addition and subtraction operations with circuits. This lab uses the virtual simulation environment to validate the design practically in the FPGA board. Equipment: • This experiment requires Quartus Prime and the Intel's DE2-115 FPGA board. • All students should have the Intel QP and ModelSim-Intel-Starter-Edition softwares installed in personal computers. • VPN connection to UNB Network and remote desktop software...

Implement a Full Adder by using two 4-to-1 MUXes and one inverter. Connect X and Y to the control inputs of the MUXes, and connect 1’s, 0’s, Cin, or C′in to each data input. I know (because it was solved by my instructor) that for Sum the inputs are C, C, C' and C. For the Cout the inputs are 0, C, C and 1. I just need an explanation how we get to this conclusion.

    1. Design and implement a full subtractor circuit using CMOS transistors. (30 Marks) (Note: Students are expected to design the circuit with truth table, solve the output expression (by use of K Map or suitable circuit Reduction technique) and implement using CMOS transistors.) p.s: simplify the k map equation (with minimum expressions) then draw the cmos transistors.

As part of the design process, the engineer creates the following building block component: a b Cin Full Adder Cout s In order to create the three bit adder, each of the three building blocks will need to be correctly connected together. Question: Part 1: In the second part of this lab, we will extend our adder to also allow for subtraction of the second number from the first. To implement this, we must take the 2's compliment of the second number and add it to the first. This can be implemented using the circuit shown in Section 4.4.2 of the notes, which is shown again here in Figure 2. B3 A3 B2 A B, A, B, A, -SM 0: Add 1:...
