Flue gas desulfurization is the form of modern technology that helps in the removal of the sulfur dioxide from the power plants and helps to reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. It is a form of the technology that works in the form of filters that absorbs SO2 and other harmful emissions from the power plants that run of the fossil fuels.

Some of the main purposes of the Flue gas desulfurization are as follows;

• To reduce the greenhouse gases from the power plants.
• To make the environment clean that is largely affected by these power plants.
• A convenient way to limit the harmful gases and many more.

Operation of flue gas desulfurization:

First of all, Filter helps in the clarification of the SO2 and other particles then evaporated evaporates the particles that are absorbed by the filter and later on these particles are crystallized by the crystallizer and make the process complete. It also works in the chemical form when the gases came out of the burning fossil fuels and contact the limestone then these gases convert into calcium sulfite and this reduces the SO2 and other harmful sulfites to go into the atmosphere and makes the environment clean out of these harmful gases.
