Statement ( d ) is false .

Heat & work are not state functions. They are path function.

A system which depends upon the path followed in attaining its state is called path functions.

Heat is the energy transfer at the molecular level between system & surroundings due to temperature while work is the energy transfer between them due to a force acting through a distance .
