A PCR reaction uses 2 primers (a forward primer and a reverse primer). Describe what happens to the concentration of these primer populations during a successful PCR reaction (hint: do they increase, decrease, or stay the same? Explain.)

There are 2 set of primers used in polymerase chain reaction as a forward and other is reversed. The concentration of these primer pairs during the successful PCR reactions are decreases because primers are annealing to the gene target and further by the help of dNTPs and DNA polymerase it involves in the amplification of DNA fragment. So, of primer Will bind with DNA, it will be utilized in PCR reactions and the concentration will be decreases.
