DISCUSSION OVERVIEW

Dan captures a wild boar on US Forest Service land. He takes it home and puts it in a cage, but the boar escapes and runs wild for a few days before being caught by Romero, some four miles distant from Dan’s house. Romero wants to keep the boar. Does he “own” it or does it belong to Dan, or to someone else?

This is the case of Misplaced goods because In this case, Dan puts down the Boar in cage so that he can recover it after he come to cage but so he has the intention to recover it but Boar escaped from the cage and found some four miles distant from Dan’s house .

If we say that Dan has let his boar run for few days and forget about it so it is also be said misplaced because Baor is entirely misplaced if the owner intentionally puts it down like in the cage, intending to recover it, even if he subsequently forgets to retrieve it.

In this case, the owner Dan because Romero is the finder and The finder of misplaced goods has no right to their possession. Like a misplaced wallet or object in the street or store.
