Answer:

Businesses and other organizations have strong needs to communication professionally with their partners. For businesses, this may include clients and customers; for non-profit organizations, it may include donors.

Some of the expected standards of professional communication for these situations are that the organization needs to maintain a good communication with all of their stakeholders so that they are updated about the organization and its current progress and issues. The communication is very important and it needs to follow some standards as below

  • The communication should be appropriate in contents with respect to the target audiences.
  • The communication should be provided with required back up details with respect to the target audiences.
  • The communication should be periodic in nature, monthly or biweekly or quarterly etc as per agreed frequency.
  • The communication should have proper language and should have focused content.
  • The communication should meet the business needs and updates around the business and key issues where support and help is needed from the key stakeholders.

The communication should be monitored at a degree where all the stakeholders are comfortable and they do not see any issue with communication process of the business. This communication monitoring helps to prevent ethical lapses. The communication will give enough confidence and ethical believe on the business and people will think that the business is progressing and the updates are available. Thus they will not go in negativity about the business and its communication process.

The kinds of potential situations might arise otherwise like business is not working well, management is no providing the timely communication to their stakeholders, the team is not adequate etc. thus they start thinking on the negative aspect on the team, organization and communication process for the business.
