What parts of our bodies do we rely upon when gathering empirical evidence? Would you consider your day to day living experience and observations as part of empirical evidence? Why?

Empirical evidences are basically the information. These information are gathered through our sense organs. When we observe some pattern then this is a type of information. If we make proper documentation of patterns then this also falls under the category of empirical evidences.

Empirical data remains based on experiences and observation. Theories and belief do not play significant role here. Actual measurements play important role here. These evidences have a nature which can be verified. These evidences also have capabilities to get demonstrated.

Our daily activities are also examples of empirical activities. Suppose we can walk with certain speed. The maximum and minimum limits can be verified through measuring speed in various conditions. Whatever we feel, we can measure through various methods.

Our senses are the best measurement tools. We can estimate wind speed through our senses. We can measure heat intensity of a surface even with closed eyes. These all are examples of empirical evidences. These remain connected with our cognitive abilities.

It have helped us during our survival. These evidences can be checked and rechecked. These have a provable nature.
