What is reflective journal?

A reflective journal is a place to write down some of your daily reflection entries. Here you can write about any positive or negative event that you may have experienced. What it means or meant to you and what you may have learned from that experience. A well written reflective journal can also be an important tool. At first force yourself to write, after a while it will become a habit and also to get the most out of anything, you need practice. Write down your entry as soon as possible after the event occured because the details will still be fresh in your mind, which will help you later in your analysis.

How to write reflectively?

1.Recall an event and write it down descriptively: What happened, who was involved?

2.Now reflect and interpret the event: What is important / interesting / relevant / useful aspect of the event, idea or situation? How can it be explained? How is it similar to/different from others?

3.Conclude what you can learn from the event and how it can be applied to you in future: What have I learned?

This week I started a course online. At first I was a little worried about time management and self motivation about completing the course. But after I started to get a grab of the first few lessons, I'm not quite happy with the eLearning facility. Beacause eLearning offers many benefits that more traditional training options, such as facilitated sessions or lectures don’t provide. There is no need for expensive travel or meetings across multiple time zones.
eLearning courses can literally be in the hands of the people who need them at all times. Many studies and surveys undertaken around eLearning have concluded that learners actually learn more using computer based instruction than they do through traditional classroom methods.

Whenever I face any problem or doubt in any topic in the learning process, I take help of the knowledge articles. Because knowlege articles are intended to act as an information source to the reader, offering answers to common questions, tutorials that explains what something is or how to use it, general information on a topic, etc.

Knowing that I'm doing good till now and have no issues after choosing eLearning and knowledge articles to learn new courses at my own convenience, allows me to continue to move forward with a positive outlook for the future.
