ans:- One of my cousin mentioned how the wannacry had affected the ms os and affected many organisations but the same didn't happen to the indian atm's and they were still using the old software which helped it safeguard  from the attack.

How should e-commerce businesses including social media sites protect data/information?

ANS:-Internet has allowed the many people or companies to open up and expand to the places where it is tough to reach.With these breaches to follow.Some steps be safe from these are ..

i) A company should invest in small business cyber insurance which will help them to take some remedial action if data is breached.

ii) Taking minimum information from the customer.

iii)Companies build in strong and trusted platform makes the data safe.

iv)SSL authentication for online access(making it PCI complaint).

• How does the organization/corporation you work for protect data/information

ANS:-The above ideas can be used to protect the data in addition to that

i)Making a recovery plan

ii)Storing a backup

iii)Limiting access to all.

iv)Checking patch vulnerabilities....etc

These can be handy in securing your data for your organisation.

How can you protect your information online?

ANS:- i)Usage of public wifi any let ones information get stolen.As someone might be eavesdropping on your activity.

ii)Create or use the strong passwords.People tend to create the passwords which is very simple or used by people and check yours is unique.

iii) Don't share your credentials on social media and it is shareable and may be misused.
