Answer #1

Apple should put more focus on the demand of the market and provide the basic of the needs that what an average user demands. In this industry you can be more optimistic about the possibility of requirements of the market. They should set goals and objectives for the future generations of the market. They should focus on best practices for the requirement in the business, follow up with customer needs and be active on the go everytime.

Nokia should done these things differently

They should have cannibalised

Despite their huge and enduring success, Nokia should have been willing to sacrifice even their most successful and profitable cash cows in order to make way for the future. Steve Jobs once observed: “If you aren’t willing to cannibalize your own business, someone else will do it for you.” How true that is.

They should have anticipated

Nokia’s example is a case is how critical it is to anticipate shifts in the market and adapt before your hand is forced.

They should have pruned

Bearing in mind the level of red tape and bureaucracy choking Nokia’s innovative spirit from the inside out nothing short of a ruthless prune was required at that time.
